Last week we began our winter journey into the book of Exodus where we saw this picture of a very personal God, one that cared for his people. Tonight, we begin in chapters 1 and 2 where the scene is set in the foreign nation of Egypt. The Israelites are under severe oppression and slavery under an evil ruler, Pharaoh – but where is God?
